Are You Going to General Conference?

I will be there as a visitor/student.  I am taking a course with Dr. Jeff Greenway at the new evangelical seminary in Dayton, Ohio called United Theological Seminary. Well it's the old United reinvented!

 

Anyhow, I get to spend all of next week (Monday through Friday--flying in Sunday night) with Jeff Greenway whispering in my ear about what's happenin.  It is going to be great!

I don't know how much time I'll have for blogging, but any chance I get I'll blog from there.  I'll be sure to put [GC2008] in my post titles so you can see them easily in the feed reader.

And I hear my friends' difficulties above me about young clergy being unable to get represented.  I'm a young clergy going as an observer.

I'm going, don't know if I'll be blogging or not.  I am a bit concerned about not having coherent thoughts due to lack of sleep!  Kathy James
P. S. I thought I was registered, but apparently not, since I'm showing up guest.  Can someone tell me how?

I wish I could go!!! it is impossible to get enough votes as a young white male clergy to be able to go!!! IMPOSSIBLE! And, the sad thing, is that the younger clergy really need to be represented!

I plan on blogging, daily if I can.  We'll see what the time and energy level allows.
